The Chicago Auto Show at McCormick Place is usually the unofficial signal for Chicagoland racing fans to get geared up for a new racing season: hot cars, exciting displays and the sound of speed to thaw out the masses. To help pump up the crowds, NHRA Top Fuel driver TJ Zizzo joined fellow racers Dale Creasy Jr. and Justin Schriefer at the Route 66/Chicagoland Speedway display area, signing hundreds of autographs.
“For me, it’s one of my first chances of the year to meet with our fans,” said Zizzo. “I’m pumped up about our season (which kicks off in Gainesville on March 8th). The crew has put a ton of work into the car, and we’re launching a new look with Peak this year: the fire suit, the car, the rig – all of them have been redesigned. The one thing that stays the same? Blasting from A to B as fast as we can!”
